Apply in the Sky wins Women 2.0 PITCH Night

Great news to share!  Apply in the Sky won both the audience and jury awards at the Women 2.0 PITCH Night!

The event was a blast.  Nine women-led start-ups spanning three tracks (mobile, cleantech and web) pitched their businesses in just seven minutes.  And believe us, seven minutes is short!

We competed in the Web Track, along with two other great companies: Everloop, a social network for tweens, and ObjectiveMarketer, a social media marketing solution.

Our live judges were Julia Hartz, co-founder of Eventbrite, Naval Ravikant, co-founder of Venture Hacks and AngelList, and David Weekly, founder of PBworks.  Meanwhile, the audience voted for their favorites via Twitter. We go some great Twitter shout-outs, which was super exciting.

So here we are on stage, right after the winners announcement.  We’re the ladies on the right.

Thank you to everyone who voted or tweeted in our support!

It has been a pleasure and an honor!

Here’s the Women 2.0 winners announcement, plus coverage on TechCrunch.
